Enzidia welcomes Dr. Patrick Gerlinger as Senior Bioengineer, bringing biocatalysis and enzyme engineering expertise from Prof. Tobias Erb's lab at MPI and Bay Area startup Rubi Laboratories — selected from over 600 applicants.
March brought Spring sunshine ☀️ to Denmark, and Dr. Patrick Gerlinger to Enzidia. At the beginning of this month, with great excitement, we welcomed Patrick to our team as a Senior Bioengineer.
Patrick built deep expertise in biocatalysis, pathway building, and enzyme engineering in Prof. Tobias Erb's lab at MPI and the Bay Area startup Rubi Laboratories.
Out of 600+ applicants, we picked out Patrick as one we are looking for. He is thoughtful, tenacious, down-to-earth. He's used to making things happen that others find too challenging to even try. In fact, challenge is what many describe as the thing that keeps Patrick energized and motivated.
Two weeks in, new country and new lab, Patrick is already pushing the first project powerfully forward.
All in the past has been great training and preparation. Now is the time to do our life's work in building this company together, and making a real dent in humanity's sustainability challenges!
